Dashboards

Dashboards lists every dashboard for the project in one place:

• Explore dashboards, built in Explore. You see the ones your role lets you see.
• External dashboards: reports from other tools such as Looker Studio, embedded here so people don’t have to look elsewhere. Only admins add, edit or remove these.

Click one to open it inside the platform. Sort the list by last opened (your own history), recently created, or A to Z; your choice is remembered.

Adding an external dashboard (admins)

Press + Add dashboard and give it a title and an embed link (https only).

For Looker Studio: open the report, choose File → Embed report, turn on Enable embedding, and paste the link that starts with https://lookerstudio.google.com/embed/. Anyone with access to the project can open it, so make sure the report is OK to share that widely.

Optionally set a minimum and maximum width (in pixels). A maximum keeps a dashboard centred instead of stretching on wide screens; a minimum stops it squeezing on narrow ones (the page then scrolls sideways).

Note

An external dashboard has its own look and sign-in rules; the platform can’t change its theme or track what you do inside it.
