Accounts and projects
Section titled “Accounts and projects”- An account is your organisation.
- A project is a workspace inside it. Each project has its own data connection (one BigQuery project), its own code, dashboards, documents, pipelines and notebooks.
If you need to work with a different warehouse, create another project rather than adding a second connection to the same one.
The workspace switcher
Section titled “The workspace switcher”The button at the top of the sidebar shows where you are: your account above, the project below. Click it to:
- Search your projects by typing,
- Switch to any project you have access to, in any account (use the arrow keys and Enter, or click),
- Create a new project (account admins only).
Everything on the page follows the project you picked, and the platform remembers it for next time.

Use the menu button at the top of the sidebar to collapse it to icons.
Light and dark mode
Section titled “Light and dark mode”Open Settings and choose Dark, Light or System. Embedded tools such as Explore follow your choice. Pages from other services (for example an external dashboard) keep their own look.
